PCU RN Job in Sun City West, AZ

Banner Del Webb Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a 3x12 day shift position with an 89-day duration, starting September 21, 2026. You'll earn $2,559 weekly.

In this role, you will care for PCU patients, including those on general telemetry monitoring and medical patients. You may float between Banner Del Webb Medical Center and Banner Boswell Medical Center campuses depending on clinical needs. You'll work with a universal bed model in a varied schedule assignment.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document comprehensive nursing care
• Review patient history and diagnostic results; report abnormal findings to physicians
• Address patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care with discharge planning
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate activities of the healthcare team
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel in patient care activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching
• Document all nursing activities accurately and timely in patient records

Requirements:

• Current valid RN license in state of practice or compact RN licensure
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Ability to maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
