CVOR Technologist

Opportunity:

Certified Surgical Tech - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Full-time position
• Care for adult and pediatric patients
• Robotic experience highly preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of Surgical Technology program or accredited LVN/LPN program required
• 2 or more years of experience preferred
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN License required
• Ability to proficiently scrub 3 specialty areas including Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Titanium Rib, and Robotics highly preferred
• Prepare patients for surgery and maintain aseptic techniques
• Set up operating rooms with tables, instruments, and supplies according to case type
• Establish and maintain sterile field, pass instruments and sutures to physicians
• Transport patients to and from Operating Room suite
• Position patients according to type of surgery
• Maintain proper traffic control, dress codes, and adherence to OR sanitation policies
• Demonstrate competency in monitoring and controlling the surgical environment
• Follow Universal Barrier Precautions for patient and personal safety
