CT Technologist Job in Harrisburg, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment at Central - UPMC Central PA Hospitals in Harrisburg, PA. This is a 91-day contract beginning September 6, 2026.

Position Overview

You will independently perform computed tomography procedures using established scan protocols, including contrast administration. You'll operate complex imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of image data. Your work will require independent judgment to adjust protocols and apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic CT purposes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and properly use power injectors according to department and manufacturer protocols
• Administer PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders and department policy, assessing patients for potential risk factors prior to contrast media administration
• Identify all patients using two patient identifiers and utilize universal protocol when performing procedures
• Review patient history and assess physician orders, applying specific departmental protocols for optimal data acquisition
• Document patient history in electronic records as required
• Ensure all exams are properly coded, tracked, networked for archiving and interpretation, with charges accurately entered

Schedule and Compensation

You will work 3 days per week on 12-hour day shifts, totaling approximately 36 hours weekly. Weekly pay is $3,074.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT program
• ARRT Certificate in Radiologic Technology
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC)
• CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of primary registry acquisition or date of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pennsylvania Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 compliance
