Opportunity:

RN - Tele Neuro

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours - must be indicated on submission form
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No on-call requirements
• Will float on a rotational basis
• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week
• Patient ratios vary: nights 1:6-1:7
• 32-bed unit serving neurological, medical, and medical telemetry patients
• Equipment used includes telemetry monitors, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps
• EMR system: EPIC
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient telemetry experience required
• Preferred: 1 year of inpatient neurology experience
• Experience and competence in drug titration required
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA only, NIHSS (must obtain prior to start if not already held)
• Missouri RN license required or eligibility for Missouri licensure
• Black scrubs required; no other scrub colors acceptable
• RTO will not be approved in the first week of assignment and must be made up at the end
• Only 1 holiday RTO request permitted per assignment
• Blocked scheduling may be approved based on facility requirements - must be listed on submission form
