Job Details:

• Neuro OR RN position working 10-hour day shifts with on-call responsibilities
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Must be willing to participate in training in a teaching facility environment, including working with students and new staff
• Proficiency with a broad range of surgical procedures including neurological, orthopedic, robotic, laparoscopic, cardiovascular, general, gynecologic, urologic, and thoracic surgeries
• Experience with advanced surgical systems including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Mako Surgical System, and Hana Table preferred
• Skills in infection control, laser safety, specimen handling/labeling, universal protocol, and wound management required
• Patients served include adults and geriatrics
• Facility operates 18 OR rooms with a daily census of 55
• Orientation consists of 40 hours including EKG and pharmacology testing with a maximum of 2 attempts per test
