PT - Physical Therapist

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekend shifts included
• No on-call requirements
• 2 Physical Therapist contractors needed
• Cover inpatient rehabilitation and, when volume is down, acute and outpatient settings
• Patient ratios: 5-6 patient care hours in rehab, 12-15 patients in acute, and 6-7 patients in outpatient
• Perform PT evaluations, reassessments, and treatments as needed for inpatient rehab
• Conduct team conferences, family training, and home assessments
• EMR system: Meditech
• Inpatient rehab experience required
• Texas State License in Physical Therapy required
• BLS certification required
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Bilingual preferred due to heavy Hispanic patient population
• Dress code: Navy scrubs; no crocs, visible tattoos; facial hairstyle must comply with CDC guidelines for N95 wearers
• Must follow AIDET and ICARES unit guidelines
