ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Holidays required as needed
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Free parking available
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• South Carolina RN license or Compact license required prior to start
• Epic experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Treat patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform skills including triage, IV insertion and management, blood product administration, 12-lead EKG/ECG, phlebotomy, procedural sedation monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, splint application, and BiPAP/CPAP management
• Manage complex patient conditions including trauma, neurological emergencies, behavioral health, respiratory distress, and multisystem organ dysfunction
• Interdisciplinary support available including phlebotomy and radiology
