About this role

You'll work as an outpatient Physical Therapist at MedStar Health Physical Therapy - Westminster on a 91-day travel assignment starting June 22, 2026. You'll work 5x8 day shifts Monday through Friday with alternating start times, earning $2,161.44 weekly.

Role Overview

You'll manage a patient ratio of 2 patients in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, and discharge planning across a range of orthopedic conditions and post-operative cases. You'll document your work in the facility's charting system and complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy experience
  • At least 1 prior travel assignment completed
  • Outpatient clinic experience with orthopedic and charge experience
  • Proficiency in gait training, strength testing, pain assessment, and patient education
  • Experience with ankle sprains, AROM, AAROM, PROM, and assessment techniques
  • Knowledge of assistive devices, body mechanics, and cervical traction
  • Comfort working with post-operative patients including cervical, shoulder, and spinal surgeries
  • Understanding of total hip and knee replacements, degenerative conditions, and workers compensation cases
  • Experience with modalities: E-stim, cryotherapy, moist heat, TENS, and traction

Required Credentials and Certifications

  • Maryland PT License (MD)
  • BLS Certification

Preferred Certification

  • CertDN
