Med/Surg Neuro RN Job in Des Moines, IA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical Neurology unit at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center. This is a 181-day contract position starting August 24, 2026.

Your Schedule

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend on-call hours required

What You'll Do

You'll deliver direct patient care on a med-surg neuro unit, managing assessments, treatments, and patient education. You'll collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery and manage their neurological conditions and post-surgical needs.

Compensation and Duration

You'll earn $2,230 per week. The contract runs for 181 days, giving you a defined engagement period with clear closure.
