ED Registered Nurse Job in Snellville, GA

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 46-room Emergency Department. You will care for patients across all age groups—from infants and pediatrics through geriatrics—in a general ED setting that combines adult and pediatric cases. This is a travel assignment, 3 shifts of 12 hours on nights, running 84 days starting October 19, 2026. Weekly pay is $1,812.

Role Details

• Patient ratio of 1:4 on days, nights, and weekends
• Average daily census of 135 patients
• Unit systems: Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR
• Self-scheduling with every other weekend required
• May float to sister campus location
• No call requirements
• Navy Blue scrubs

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• GA or Compact nursing license
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Charting system experience required

Required Clinical Skills

• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Care of ventilated patients
• Central line care and management
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Isolation precautions and PPE
• IV vasopressors
• Triage

Time Off and Holiday Coverage

Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract; all requests must be finalized at submission. Holiday coverage is required. If one or two major holidays fall within your assignment, you are expected to work all of them. If three major holidays fall within your assignment, you are expected to work two. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.
