Respiratory Therapist Job in Austin, TX

You will work as a Respiratory Therapist in the NICU at North Austin Medical Center TX for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a night shift role from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, scheduled as 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts, with a rotating weekend schedule. There are no on-call responsibilities.

Your primary responsibilities include performing nebulizer treatments, administering oxygen therapy, and managing ventilator support for neonatal patients. You will apply your clinical knowledge and hands-on skills in a specialized intensive care environment focused on newborn care.

Required Qualifications:

• RRT credential (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NRP certification

Preferred Experience:

• Background in ICU, NICU, or PICU settings

Assignment Details:

• Contract duration: 91 days, starting September 9, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,011
• Dress code: Olive green tops and black bottoms
