Respiratory Therapist Job in Fort Worth, TX

Medical City Alliance is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Fort Worth, Texas. You will work the night shift, 3 days per week, on a schedule of 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM with 36 guaranteed hours weekly. Every other weekend is required; there are no on-call duties.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care in a NICU setting with experience across ICU, NICU, and ED patient populations
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and assist with intubation procedures
• Deliver nebulizer treatments, Metaneb, IPPB, and chest physiotherapy (CPT)
• Operate Servo I ventilators and I-Stat equipment
• Document care using the Meditech system
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills while caring for all age ranges of patients

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional degree as Respiratory Therapist
• Minimum 2+ years of hospital experience
• RRT certification and current BLS certification
• NICU experience required; ICU and ED experience required
• Ability to draw ABGs
• Preferred experience with Servo I ventilators and I-Stat devices

Facility and Assignment Details

Assignment begins September 7, 2026, with Tuesday start dates available. You will receive weekly pay of $1,708.20. The assignment runs for 91 days (13 weeks).

Dress Code and Appearance Standards

• Black scrubs required (you are responsible for purchase)
• No artificial nails, gel nails, or next-gen nails
• Hair must be neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors; shoulder-length or longer hair must be pulled back
• Body art should be covered when possible
• Visible piercings other than earrings are not permitted, including nose rings and tongue rings
