Respiratory Therapist Job in Dallas, TX

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment in the Pediatric Emergency Department. You'll work a 3x12 day shift schedule (7 AM to 7 PM) earning $1,381 weekly.

Role Overview

You'll be the assigned Respiratory Therapist in a 15-bed Pediatric ED located on the 3rd floor. This role requires you to manage acute respiratory cases in a fast-paced emergency environment with pediatric patients. Your responsibilities include:

• Administer noninvasive and invasive ventilation
• Perform bronchiolitic scoring and respiratory arrest management
• Operate standard respiratory equipment
• Work with the Meditech EMR system
• Float to other pediatric spaces as needed

Requirements

You must have pediatric experience and critical care experience. Candidates without both skill sets will not be considered for this position. There is no on-call requirement.

Assignment Details

Start date is August 24, 2026. Day shift positions are available. You will work independently as the sole Respiratory Therapist assigned to the Pediatric ED during your shifts, with floating flexibility to support other pediatric units as required.
