Med Surg RN Job in Novato, CA

Sutter Health Novato Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Medical Surgical unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 19, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Medical Surgical
• Shift: 3x12 rotating schedule with 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Schedule alternates between three 12-hour shifts one week and two 12-hour shifts the following week
• Variable days with every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating as needed to support unit operations
• Weekly pay: $1,946

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in California
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• NIHSS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

You will care for medical and surgical patients in a community hospital setting, providing direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The rotating schedule offers flexibility while maintaining consistency in your weekly commitment. Your nursing license must be active and in good standing throughout your assignment.
