PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment with patient ratios of 1:5 during day and night shifts
• Float to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units as needed
• Work with a large cardiac population across two Telemetry floors and a PCU
• Perform varied procedures across units serving both acute and chronic medical conditions
• Utilize Meditech EMR system
• Work with RNs and CNAs across most units
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care PCU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Chemo Certification preferred - would allow scheduling on Oncology unit
• Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to float
• Team player with strong compassion for patients required
