PCU RN Job in Aurora, CO

Join HCA HealthONE Aurora as a Registered Nurse in our Progressive Care Unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 24, 2026, offering you the opportunity to work with a dynamic acute care team in a busy medical environment.

Position Overview

You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM in our PCU (Progressive Care Unit) within PC2 Progressive Care. Your primary responsibility will be caring for patients with varied medical and chronic conditions, with a patient ratio of 1:5. You'll also have the opportunity to float to inpatient Medical/Telemetry and Rehabilitation units as needed, working with a large cardiac patient population across two Telemetry floors and our PCU.

What You'll Need

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care PCU experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR (prior experience preferred)
• Flexibility and willingness to float between units
• Strong teamwork and patient-centered approach

Additional Considerations

Chemo Certification is preferred and would allow you to pick up shifts on our Oncology unit if interested. You should be comfortable demonstrating flexibility in your assignments and demonstrate compassion in patient interactions.

Compensation and Schedule

You will earn $1,852 weekly. This assignment runs for 91 days, providing a solid commitment window to become fully integrated with the team.
