PCU RN Job in Greeley, CO

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit at Banner North Colorado Medical Center, based in Greeley. This is an 89-week travel assignment starting October 26, 2026, with 3x12-hour night shifts.

Your Role

You will provide direct patient care to Cardiac and Medical-Surgical PCU patients, performing assessments and implementing care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. You will monitor telemetry, read rhythms, and respond quickly to patient changes. Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care according to organizational policies
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Delegate and supervise healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development

Schedule and Assignment

You will work a varied schedule including every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation. You are based at Banner North Colorado Medical Center with expected float assignments to Medical-Surgical or other PCU units at the Loveland campus or Banner Fort Collins as needed.

Requirements

• Current valid RN license in Colorado
• Colorado CAPS, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience in specialty area within the past 12 months
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to patient needs

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,556.
