PCU RN Job in Greeley, CO

Banner North Colorado Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit. You will work 3 shifts of 12 hours on nights, with an every-other-weekend and holiday rotation. This is an 89-day regional contract position.

You will provide direct patient care in the PCU and may float to support the Medical/Surgical units at Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Loveland, or Bear River Family Clinic as operational needs require. Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies and professional standards
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs, including discharge planning
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips and other cardiac monitoring data
• Care for patients with cardiac, medical, orthopedic, and neurological conditions
• Review diagnostic and laboratory results, reporting abnormal findings to physicians and the care team
• Delegate and supervise licensed and non-licensed healthcare team members
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising the plan of care as indicated
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
• Participate in unit leadership activities and support orientation of new personnel

Requirements: You must hold a current, valid RN license in Colorado and maintain CAPS registration. Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience is required, with experience in the specialty area within the past 12 months. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. A Bachelor's degree and professional certification are preferred.

Weekly pay: $2,556. Start date: October 19, 2026.
