Cath Lab Technologist Job in Pikeville, Kentucky

Pikeville Medical Center is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to join our cardiac catheterization team. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 10, 2026.

Position Details

• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 3 shifts per week with guaranteed 48 hours weekly
• On-call required 7–8 days per 6-week period
• One to two weekends every six weeks, plus holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with catheter insertion into the heart
• Measure and administer specialized fluids during procedures
• Verify EKG equipment is functioning properly before each procedure
• Monitor EKG readouts during procedures and alert the physician to any abnormalities
• Maintain accurate charting in Epic

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of catheterization lab experience
• Associate Degree or Certificate in a related field; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• ARRT certification with active Radiologic Technologist license
• Valid Kentucky State license
• Current EKG certification

Compensation

You will earn $2,897 per week. This is a 91-day assignment at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky.
