Telemetry RN Job in Brunswick, ME

Mid Coast Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg Telemetry unit in Brunswick, Maine. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 30, 2026.

Role Overview

You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) with 36 guaranteed hours weekly. You'll care for patients on a 54-bed unit with a typical patient ratio of 5–6:1. The position does not require floating to other units or on-call availability unless census drops significantly.

Clinical Focus

Your patients may present with a range of conditions including COPD, congestive heart failure, pneumonia, influenza, myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolism, post-surgical needs, dementia, cancer, stroke, and orthopedic conditions. You will monitor telemetry equipment, document in the EPIC EMR system, and provide direct patient care.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry experience
• BLS certification required
• Flexibility and strong teamwork skills

What We Offer

You will earn $2,483.46 per week. Every other weekend is required; color scrub preferences are flexible. This is a straightforward clinical role with predictable scheduling and no additional float obligations.
