Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratios of 1:6-7 on days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend requirement with holiday rotation
• No on-call required
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
• 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certification: BLS
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Free parking available
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Block schedule requests can be submitted for approval but are not guaranteed
• Required skills include: accessing/managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line blood draw, colostomy/ileostomy care, CVA management, feeding tube care, heparin administration, high flow nasal cannula, insulin administration, interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, telemetry monitoring, tracheostomy care, wound care/wound vac, and use of rapid response/code teams
