Telemetry RN Job in Orangeburg, SC

MUSC Health Orangeburg is hiring a Registered Nurse for its new Telemetry unit. You'll work 3x12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM) with a patient ratio of 1:6 on a newly opened 10-bed unit staffed with 2 RNs and 1 tech per shift.

Schedule & Expectations

• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating within scope as needed to meet facility needs
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period
• Block scheduling can be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed

Unit Details

• New unit with bedside monitors featuring telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry capabilities
• Charge responsibilities shared between stepdown and 3 west
• 24/7 house supervisor coverage available; leadership accessible by phone
• Epic charting system in use

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Demonstrated experience with telemetry interpretation of dysrhythmias and on-unit telemetry monitoring
• South Carolina RN license or Compact license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Community hospital experience
• Epic charting system experience

Scrub color: Royal Blue. Assignment duration is 91 days, starting September 8, 2026. Weekly pay is $1,944.
