ED Registered Nurse Job in Greensboro, NC

You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a 3x12 schedule at Cone Health - Wesley Long Community Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting October 26, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,316.

The Emergency Department is a general non-trauma setting serving combined adult and pediatric populations, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatric patients. You'll manage a patient ratio of 1:5 and float as needed across campus locations. The contract requires at least 8 weekend shifts, with holidays as needed.

Your responsibilities include:

• Triage and patient assessment
• Blood product administration
• Central line care and management
• Starting and maintaining IVs, including phlebotomy
• Continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressor administration
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• CPAP/BiPAP management
• Care of ventilated patients
• Arterial blood gas interpretation
• Dysrhythmia interpretation

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Active RN license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
• EPIC EMR experience
• Must pass compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)

Interdisciplinary support is available through IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and additional departments.
