CT Technologist Job in Augusta, GA

You'll work as a CT Technologist at Wellstar MCG Health in Augusta, GA, operating on a nights schedule. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning April 27, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,368.

Schedule & Expectations

• Work three 12-hour night shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Flexibility with hours to meet department needs
• On-call availability as necessary

Your Role

You will perform a full range of CT technical procedures, applying independent judgment and initiative. Responsibilities include verifying clinician orders, obtaining complete clinical histories, administering contrast media according to established protocols, and reviewing CT images for clinical acceptability. You'll transport and position patients, apply shielding and immobilization devices, and demonstrate competence with venipuncture and power injection operation. You'll maintain equipment, conduct quality control tests, ensure proper calibration, and respond to emergency situations while maintaining life support equipment knowledge. Additional duties include patient charging activities, documentation, and assisting colleagues as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional degree with completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
• Current certifications: ARRT-R (ARRT Radiography), ARRT-CT (ARRT Computed Tomography), and BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Less than 1 year CT experience preferred
