Telemetry RN Job in Statesboro, GA

East Georgia Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Telemetry. You will work day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM on a 3x12 schedule, with every other weekend and holiday shifts required as part of unit needs.

Role and Responsibilities

• Float between Medical Surgical and Telemetry departments only
• Care for Medical Surgical patients with remote telemetry monitoring
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6–7, with PCT support covering 14 patients total
• Provide nursing care across services including Med Surg, Remote Tele, Ortho, Post-op, CHF, and Respiratory
• Perform complete nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer medications using bedside scanning technology
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient outcomes

Requirements

• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
• Minimum 2 completed travel assignments
• Recent experience with Cerner EMR charting (required)
• Recent acute care experience (required)

Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 weeks, starting October 19, 2026
• Shift: 3x12 days; schedule varies based on unit needs
• Scrubs: Navy blue
• EMR: Cerner
• Blocked scheduling and 48-hour weekly guarantees are not approved

Weekly compensation is $1,971. You will work in a team-based environment with support from patient care technicians and interdisciplinary staff.
