Emergency Room RN Job in Santa Fe, NM

CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. This is a full-time travel position with a 91-day duration, beginning June 29, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Emergency Room (ED)
• Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to other locations as needed
• Weekly pay: $1,995.84

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from AHA
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• CPI or equivalent preferred

Core Responsibilities

• Obtain and record initial patient assessments and establish priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care within established timeframes
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and make clinical decisions based on patient evaluations
• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served
• Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Perform various point-of-care testing procedures
• Demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice
• Maintain current knowledge and skills appropriate to age and type of patient population served
