Job Details:

• Work day shifts, 3x12 hours from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 hours
• 13-week assignment length
• 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• Call requirements as required by facility
• Float requirements as required by facility
• Required licensure: RRT, licensed with Missouri Board for Respiratory Care
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only
• Preferred certifications: PALS
• Must have adult critical care experience and high volume busy ED with trauma experience
• Preferred skills include blood gas draw, blood gas processing on GEM, and blood gas interpretation
• Work with respiratory patients throughout all hospital areas including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, Neuro, and trauma patients
• Equipment includes Avea ventilators, LTV transport, V60 Bipap with Bellavista, Vapo therm and Airvo for high flow
• EMR system: EPIC
• Patient ratios based on point system and dependent on staffing
• Dress code: Black scrubs required
• Strong confident therapist with good time management skills needed
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1
