ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Night shift schedule
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Patient ratio of 1:4-6; behavioral health locked units ratio 1:6
• 54-bed emergency department averaging 120 patient visits per day
• Treat patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Primary Stroke Center (Gold Plus with AHA) - 4-hour annual stroke CEUs required
• STEMI cases will be transferred if cardiac catheterization intervention is needed
• 2 locked units within the ED dedicated to behavioral health care, supported by ED staffing and security team
• 2 rapid evaluation units for urgent care and critical care needs with rapid medical screenings
• Charting system: Cerner
• Candidates will float within the hospital within scope
• Scrubs: Navy Blue
• 3 years of experience required
• Must have at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Community hospital experience required
• Valid Maryland or Compact license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, Prophecy Relias Advanced EKG, CEN
