ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Work with Phillips & GE Monitors and Level 1 Rapid Infuser equipment
• Document using Meditech (EDM) EMR system
• Strong IV skills required for both adult and pediatric patients
• Excellent communication skills required
• Trauma experience and TNCC certification preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• Perform typical ER procedures including cardioversion, central line placements, cardiac arrests, IV insertions, EKGs, pacemaker interrogation, Code Stroke protocol, Code Sepsis protocol, and suture/abscess setup
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI
• Scrub color required: Teal top with black or teal bottoms
• Every other weekend required, including at least 1 Friday and 1 Monday within a 4-week schedule
• No on-call required
• May float to the FSED location approximately 15 minutes away
