PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Work night shifts Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• No on-call responsibilities
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 for the first 30 minutes or ICU level of care, transitioning to 2:1 when patient is stable
• Two RNs are required in the PACU at all times when a patient is present
• 18-bay PACU unit with a team of 25 staff members
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
• ICU level of care competency required
• CPAN and TCAR certifications preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Work with Meditech Magic EMR system
• Proactive, team-player personality is the ideal fit for this unit
• Dress code: Navy scrubs required
