PACU RN Job in Fort Worth, TX

Medical City Fort Worth is seeking an experienced RN for a 91-day travel assignment in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). You will deliver direct patient care in a 26-bed PACU located on the 2nd floor of the main hospital, adjacent to the operating room.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, days only
• Shift times: Varied between 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, 9:00 AM–9:00 PM, or 10:00 AM–10:00 PM
• Weekend on-call: One night per week and two weekends during the 13-week contract
• Patient ratio: 1:2
• Start date: September 7, 2026

Your Responsibilities

You will provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from general, neuro, oncology, orthopedics, vascular, and all types of surgical procedures. You may float to Day Surgery as needed. This role requires you to follow ASPAN Guidelines for all unit policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• ICU and PACU experience required
• ACLS certification required

Facility Information

You will work with the Meditech electronic medical record system. The unit maintains a professional dress code of royal blue scrubs or hospital-provided scrubs. Night shift is closed; on-call consists of 2 PACU nurses. Block scheduling is not available. The facility values team members with an easy-going and pleasant personality.

Compensation

Weekly pay: $1,708.20
