PACU RN Job in Odessa, TX

Odessa Regional Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for a 91-day travel assignment in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). You will work a 5-day schedule with 8-hour shifts during day hours, with end times varying based on surgical procedures. This role includes call requirements of 6–8 days per month.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care to post-anesthesia patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state regulations, AORN standards, and facility policies
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical staff, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, quality care
• Anticipate patient needs and demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in planning care delivery
• Delegate patient care priorities to available staff based on their education and experience level
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education

What We're Looking For

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong communication and leadership skills
