PACU RN Job in Lewisville, TX

Medical City Lewisville is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This is a 4x10 day shift position working 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. with variable hours and on-call responsibilities.

About the Role

You will provide specialized post-operative nursing care in a well-established acute care hospital environment. Your responsibilities include:

• Monitor and assess patients during the post-anesthesia recovery phase for any complications or adverse reactions
• Provide recovery care and support to patients following surgical and anesthesia procedures
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe and smooth patient transitions from the operating room
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed during the recovery period
• Document patient status and responses to care in accordance with facility protocols
