MICU RN Job in Arlington, TX

Opportunity:

RN - MICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 13-week assignment
• Minimum 2+ years of hospital ICU experience required
• MICU/MSICU patient experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• CCRN certification preferred
• Active RN Texas license required - temporary license will not be accepted
• Meditech documentation system experience preferred
• Work with ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitor
• Perform central line placements, bedside procedures such as thoracentesis, dialysis cath placements, cardioversions, intubations, and all other ICU procedures
• Patient assignments based on acuity and skills
• Floating to other units as needed
• Required to wear Royal Blue scrubs
• Nail policy: clean and healthy nails, no artificial nails, gel, or next gen
• Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Body art should be covered whenever possible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose rings and tongue rings
