ED - Emergency Room

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with a schedule of 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No floating policy
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• 20-bed Emergency Department with a current daily volume of approximately 105 patients
• Assess, treat, and manage both adult and pediatric emergency patients in a collaborative manner
• Perform advanced procedures including laceration repairs, closed reductions, intubations, lumbar punctures, incision & drainage, and splinting
• Provide excellent patient experience using AIDET communication standards, communication boards, and rounding
• Deliver clearly defined discharge instructions and provide patient-centered care
• Move patients through their ED visit with quality and efficiency
• Work alongside unit clerks/monitor techs, paramedics, and advanced care techs
• Utilize GE monitors and document using MEDITECH system
• Dress code: Scrubs required - solid pants in any color, print tops and jackets permitted; no camouflage, denim, hoodies, or fleece
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
