ED RN Job in Pasadena, TX

Join HCA Houston Southeast as a Registered Nurse in our 22-bed Freestanding Emergency Department. This is a 13-week travel position offering hands-on emergency care in a fast-paced setting with collegial teamwork and strong patient focus.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (3 p.m. to 3 a.m.)
• Duration: 91 days, starting November 2, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,235
• Patient ratio: 1:4
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekend shifts as needed or every other weekend

Clinical Responsibilities:

• IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedations, and splinting
• Bedside cardiac monitoring and patient assessment
• Work with defibrillators, Hamilton ventilators, Welch Allyn equipment, and splinting tools
• Meditech Magic EMR system (transitioning to Meditech Expanse)

Required Certifications:

• ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and valid RN License

Preferred Certifications:

• ENPC and NRP

Dress Code:

• Royal blue scrubs and closed-toed shoes required
• Stethoscope required for patient assessment
• No crocs with holes, false nails, AirPods, or Meta glasses

You may be asked to float to our Fairmont Freestanding Emergency Department as needed. This role demands strong clinical skills, reliable teamwork, and a commitment to excellent patient care in a dynamic emergency setting.
