Telemetry RN Job in Baltimore, MD

Join LBH - Sinai Hospital as a Registered Nurse in Telemetry. You'll work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, caring for patients with complex medical and surgical needs on a teaching hospital unit with Level I or Level II trauma designation.

Role Details

• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• May float to Med-Surg and Med-Surg/Telemetry units based on hospital needs
• Block scheduling not available

Experience Requirements

• 2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience required
• Neurology experience required
• CVA/acute stroke care and pre/post-neurosurgery experience required
• Experience with spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury required
• Feeding-tube care, pre/post-hemodialysis care, and renal failure experience required
• Surgical drain, wound care/wound VAC, oxygen administration, and isolation/PPE experience required
• Teaching hospital and Level I or Level II trauma experience preferred

Certifications and Assessments

• Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and 16-hour Maryland-approved trauma certification
• TCRN preferred
• Onsite pass/fail EKG exam required; strong telemetry experience needed
• Basic EKG assessment through Prophecy Relias must be successfully completed before orientation
• 8 hours of annual stroke continuing education required
• 4 hours of annual trauma-related continuing education required
