Pharmacist Job in Richmond, VA

CJW Medical Center Chippenham Campus in Richmond, VA is seeking a Pharmacist for a travel position. You'll work in a 463-bed hospital pharmacy setting, performing critical medication management and clinical pharmacy services.

Position Details:

• Shift: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM, 5 days per week
• Duration: 168 days
• Start date: November 9, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,810

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform IV verification, medication verification, and IV compounding
• Work with complex patient populations including trauma, burn, critical care, pediatrics, cardiac surgery, and ECMO patients
• Manage advanced dosing protocols including Vancomycin AUC dosing, aminoglycoside dosing, renal dosing, warfarin, enoxaparin, electrolyte protocols, heparin, and DOAC management
• Document using Meditech Magic, Vigilanz, Dose Edge, Pyxis, and C2 Safe systems

Required Qualifications:

• Virginia State Pharmacist license
• Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience
• Experience with Dose Edge IV, Pyxis, Meditech, and Vigilanz

• No floating policy—you'll remain in the pharmacy setting
