Job Details:

• Tuesday to Saturday schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Inpatient/acute care setting
• Float between inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings as needed
• Treat adult and geriatric inpatient population with orthopedic, neurological, medical, and pulmonary conditions
• Outpatient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics with hand therapy as a major component
• Service home health clients on Tuesdays and Fridays at off-site outpatient center (approximately 2.5 miles away)
• Work within a facility that holds JCAHO certification for Stroke (NIH certified) and Total Joint Program for elective hips and knees
• Early mobility program in place including vent early mobility level 2
• Charting system: Cerner
• Required certifications: BLS Certification and California OT license
• Dress code: Burgundy polo or long sleeve shirt, black pants, and appropriate shoes
• No holiday requirements
• General department orientation with skills checklist and assigned clinician provided
• Manager will consider candidates with less than 2 years of experience
• 50-mile radius rule applies, no local rates
