Med Surg RN Job in Arlington, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced RN for a 91-day travel assignment at Medical City Arlington. You'll work three 12-hour day shifts per week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) on a 29-bed acute care medical-surgical unit located on the 1st floor.

Schedule & Compensation

• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekly pay: $1,512
• No blocked scheduling
• Every other weekend required; no on-call responsibilities
• Start date: August 11, 2026

Role Details

• Patient ratio: 6:1
• Day shift team includes 1 charge nurse, 2 RNs, 2 LVNs, 2 Techs, and 1 HUC
• Float to inpatient med/surg units as needed
• Typical procedures: abdominal fluid removal and central line placement
• EMR system: Meditech

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS certification required
• Acute care experience required
• Neuro med/surg experience preferred
• General medicine and orthopedics experience preferred

Dress Code & Facility Standards

• Royal blue scrubs required
• No sweatshirts, t-shirts, Crocs, artificial nails, or extreme hair colors
