Med Surg RN Job in Arlington, TX

You'll work as an RN on a 30-bed Medical Surgical unit (Tower 3, Unit 622) at Medical City Arlington. This is a day shift position, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., three days per week for 91 days, with a start date of September 22, 2026.

Unit Details

• Patient ratio: 6:1
• Day shift team includes 1 charge nurse, 4–5 RNs (census-dependent), 2 PCTs, 1 HUC, and 1–3 sitters
• No on-call requirement
• Floating required based on hospital census needs

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and assist with post-surgical recovery, including cholecystectomy and cystoscopy with stent placement
• Manage pain control and CIWA protocols
• Operate equipment including Hoyer lifts, Sara Steady, and bladder scanners
• Document all patient care in the Meditech EMR system

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum Med Surg or acute care experience
• Previous Med Surg or acute care experience preferred

Compensation & Schedule

• Weekly pay: $1,525
• 3x12 day shifts (7 a.m.–7 p.m.)
• 91-day assignment
