ICU Registered Nurse Job in Portage, Wisconsin

Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, Wisconsin is hiring a Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in the ICU. You'll work 3x12-hour night shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week (excluding orientation) and earn $2,402.64 weekly.

About the Role

Your primary unit is the medical-surgical ICU, where you'll care for patients with a mix of conditions including joint replacements and general surgical cases. You'll be expected to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover, and Riverview locations as needed. There are no on-call or back-up requirements, though additional shifts may be available for sick call coverage.

Schedule & Time Off

• 3x12-hour night shifts (Friday and Saturday weekends)
• 2 out of 4 weekends required
• Holiday rotation required (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day)
• Blackout dates: December 20 through January 5; maximum 7 days of PTO accommodated
• Start date: October 19, 2026

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Med/Surg experience and prior travel healthcare experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing
• Must live outside 50 miles from the facility
• ICU and Med/Surg competency required

Additional Information

You'll wear dark blue scrubs. This is a straightforward contract role focused on direct patient care with your established team at the primary facility and partner locations.
