ED RN Job in Jackson, CA

Sutter Health Amador Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Jackson, CA. You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week with start times between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 18, 2026.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department with 11 rooms and 11 beds. You will care for patients across all age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Your patient ratio will be 4:1 on days, nights, and weekends. Weekend coverage is required.

• Respiratory services
• Phlebotomy
• Radiology
• Rapid response teams
• Pharmacy
• Unit secretary

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
• Valid California RN license
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Current PALS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Two references obtained within the last year

Preferred Certifications

NRP and TNCC certifications are preferred.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,506.98.
