ED RN Job in Corpus Christi, TX

You will work as a registered nurse in a 15-bed freestanding emergency department at Corpus Christi Medical Center. This is a 13-week travel position with a start date of September 14, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required; no on-call
• Weekly pay: $1,661

Your Responsibilities

• Perform splinting, wound care, IV starts, and medication administration
• Conduct patient assessments and reassessments
• Manage documentation and oversee EMT-Paramedics
• Rapidly identify and respond to Sepsis, STEMI, Stroke, and Trauma cases
• Manage airway procedures and monitor ventilator patients
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 depending on acuity

Facility Details

• Equipment: Baxter pumps, Hamilton ventilators, GE cardiac monitors, and Stryker stretchers
• Electronic medical record system: Meditech
• Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs; no hoodies
• Clock out for lunch breaks and any time leaving the building; communicate with the Charge Nurse Coordinator

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or equivalent
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
