RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (4x12)
• Overtime after 48 hours
• Block scheduling potential but not guaranteed
• 4 weekend shifts per 6-week period (2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays), along with 3 Mondays and 3 Fridays
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
• Experience with pre-cardiac cath and managing ports required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Epic charting experience required
• Active compact license required at time of submission
• Patient ratio of 5-6 patients
• Float potential between Edgewood and Florence campuses as needed, including Observation Units, MS, and MS Tele units
• Support ED boarders across the system — patients waiting for a bed in the ED requiring inpatient care; will float to observation units if boarder census is low
• Work with adult patient population with a daily census of 36 beds
• Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
• Special equipment includes lift equipment, iPad for communication, and pacemaker interrogation
• Navy blue scrubs required; no agency or brand logos permitted on scrubs or apparel
• No nose rings or gauged earrings permitted
• Fingernails must be less than 1/4" in length; natural fingernails required for direct patient care (polish acceptable)
• One pre-approved time off request permitted; expect holiday coverage
• No on-call responsibilities
