ED Registered Nurse Job in Columbus, GA

Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 112-day travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3x12 nights
• Weekly pay: $1,803
• Facility: Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Campus, Columbus, GA
• License required: Georgia or Compact nursing license

Role Expectations

You will care for a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Your responsibilities include triage, management of dysrhythmias, central line care and management, IV vasopressor administration, CPAP/BiPAP support, and care of ventilated patients. You will also manage ER holds as part of your daily duties.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic charting system

Preferred Experience

• Community hospital background
• Trauma Level I or Level II facility experience

Unit Operations

You will wear navy blue scrubs. Floating within the facility and scope of practice is required; you may float to the sister campus as needed. Every other weekend is required unless otherwise specified. There are no on-call requirements for this position.

Time Off and Holiday Policy

You may request a maximum of 7 days of time off per contract, and all requests must be finalized at submission. If one or two major holidays fall during your assignment, you are expected to work all of them. If three major holidays occur during your contract, you are expected to work two of them. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
