Med Surg RN Job in Osage Beach, MO

Lake Regional Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week Med Surg assignment in Osage Beach, Missouri. You'll work the night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, on a 3x12 schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Role Details

• 39-bed Med Surg unit with 24 Med Surg/Telemetry beds
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Telemetry patients primarily monitored for pacemakers, rhythm monitoring, and potassium management—no acutely cardiac patients
• Some weekend shifts required
• May float to other Med Surg units within your scope of practice
• Hospital may call off one shift for every four weeks worked

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years Med Surg nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification (can be obtained during placement if needed)
• NIHSS certification (can be obtained during placement if needed)
• Telemetry experience beneficial but not required
• Meditech charting experience highly preferred
• BSN not required
