Job Details:

• Night shift position working 36 or 48 hours per week
• 26-week contract assignment
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required; must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays
• May float between sections on occasion as needed
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations
• Work within a multidisciplinary team environment across Surgical/Neuro, Heart and Vascular, Medical, and Unit Rotation service teams
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills required
• Must be proactive and work at the top of licensure
• 4 years of experience required; candidates with 2+ years of experience will be considered
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, RRT, Virginia State License
• ACLS and ACCS preferred
• Key skills include: Adult Critical Care, BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC, mechanical ventilation weaning, intubation assist, extubation, bronchoscopy, drawing arterial blood gases, ABG interpretation, tracheostomy care and management, nitric oxide, inhaled Flolan, and pulmonary hygiene
