ICU RN Job in San Antonio, TX

Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is seeking an RN for a 13-week contract assignment in the Intensive Care Unit. You will work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) on a 3x12 schedule with rotating weekends; every other weekend is required. There are no on-call duties, and you are guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a 14-bed ICU with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Perform critical care procedures including vasopressor management
• Document patient information using the Meditech system
• Float to other units as needed per hospital policy

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
• Experience with Meditech preferred

Facility Details:

The assignment runs for 91 days, starting July 15, 2026. You will earn $1,708.20 per week. Methodist Hospital Stone Oak expects professional appearance and conduct: navy scrub top and pants with a navy or white scrub jacket; clean and neatly trimmed facial hair; neat, clean hair with no extreme styles or colors; covered body art whenever possible; and visible piercings limited to ears only. Nails must be clean and healthy.
