Job Details:

• Travel emergency department RN position with 36 or 48 hours per week accepted
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals
• Holidays required as scheduled
• Every other weekend required
• Patient-facing, non-remote clinical position
• Work in a 54-bed, state-designated Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center treating more than 60,000 patients per year
• Provide emergency medical services to patients of all age groups in a 24/7 environment
• Nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1:1 for critical/trauma patients to 1:3-4 for all other patients
• EMR system: Meditech
• Dress code: Solid navy scrubs
• Parking available on site
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; 18 months may be considered with 2 years of specialty experience
• Associate degree in nursing required
• Alabama RN license or Compact license required (no temporary licenses accepted); Nursys verification required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS, NIH or Red Cross, TNCC, and SECURE (completed on site)
